decisions or mistakes

We tend to grow old with time. But the question here is do we grow wise with time as well? Perhaps in every one's mind, there's a little confusion and unpleasant feeling now - the life after high school. Sometimes it feels like it's just yesterday. You tend to miss your friends. Your teachers. Those time you had when you were struggling with exams. All of these experience have vanished. You miss you Alma mater? Time to take a deep breath? No. Since the day we received our results, we had to take some time to digest things. We had to decide on what to do next. We had to get our options ready, and to get ready for what is coming. Yesterday was the last day we can "kemaskini" our choice of courses for the local universities. Many of my friends feel disappointed with the requirements to take the courses they want. Me too. In the official MOHE(ministry of higher education) webbie stated mostly for all the courses, the requirements is just a C or a Band 1 for MUET. Well, the truth is there's another SPOILER webbie called QUAN SHENG which shows the statistics of the people entering the courses in our beloved Malaysian Universities. Hoho. It is just meant for students who are Chinese. Why must there be QUAN SHENG when there is already an official webbie? Because we're just secondary citizens in our country. Is there a sense of belonging for us; non-bumis? I'm not trying to be racist here, but thinking about it, it doesn't give me a good feeling. This is why people like Bald-headed Namewee did the NEGARAKUKU anthem. It was really an eye-opening track; not my kinda song actually. The reason I write this is not mainly about the inequality of what we have in our beloved Malaysia. It's about us suffering from not being able to get what we want. I want to go to USM. I want to stay in Penang. However the cut off point to enter the course I want is 3.7. Too much and tough, isn't it? Maybe some will say "KNN KIT, U COMPLAIN HAMI LAN?" for my thinking because my results can guarantee me a place in the local universities, but not having the courses and the university I want. Life is really not up to our expectations. Expecting the worst will be the best if you never want to be devastated. Some are even confused with what to take now - to go private or to go public? Or maybe some are just making more options for themselves by applying everything they feel that has potential for them. I will not choose private, unless I am offered or I am impressed with their education. But what's so fun about being in the local universities? Nothing. Consider these situations: #1. Seeing BOBOs overtaking you in your course because the lecturer tends to give them more PERSONAL classes and extra attention. The worst - The examination questions are leaked to those BOBOs. #2. Telling the world that you're from our Malaysia Boleh Universities, making employers doubt your capability, getting a job with an amount of 1.8k/month in your life FOREVER until you retire. #3. Our Malaysia needs 150k engineers in the future. I bet 120k of them have their names printed Muhammad/Mohamed. You want to place your bet my dear? Let's not talk about our Beloved country. I am really getting

with things. Why are there so many doubts? Why? Why this and why that? A lot of questions and worries in my mind. Thank God the expiry date of submitting MOHE has passed. If not I'll still be going haywire with my choices of courses. One stupid mistake can send you to Terengganu. Then you're going to enjoy being a VIP there. Decisions or mistakes for us to make. Are we on the right path? Does this path lead us to hell? The summary of all things - money. Okay. When it comes to this situation, you have to as yourself what you are afraid of if you choose the wrong shit. A bad job? and a bad job leads to? leads to a life with no cash. Some say money is not everything, for everything else, there is Mastercard. Well I say, money is the root of evil.
The idiot that created money needs to be slain seriously. Money is not everything I agree; but money is almost everything in the world. According to engineers, Penang bridge was made with good alloys and strong materials. According to Chow 3:16, Penang bridge was made of money. If you don't have the cash in things, miracles won't happen. A magician thinks he's God because you seduce him with cash. A good doctor/surgeon/dentist/vet saves a life in the name of LUI(say this with a hokkien slang). A blogger adds ads in their blog to make himself richer. This theory applies to every blogger but not the owner of Images and Words.

Bloggers = Online Beggars

Everyone wants a good future. Ask yourself, what is a good future to you? A good future equals to having 10 pieces of 100 bux in your wallet when you go out for shopping/movies food/hobbies/fun. Hey! What about those people who choose according courses according to their interest? They'll surely do well and get a good job and get more cash. Wrong. Sometimes when you're the best in this field, it doesn't mean that you're going to be a person with a pocket full of cash. Why do humans want to go to space? Answer: because they are interested, interested to feel some fame, to make history and lastly to make millions when you return. It's just too bad when you ask a person "what's more to earning money?" Because the answer would be "earning MORE money." The bottom line is this - we need money to have a good education so that we earn more money. Money starts up everything, even your car's engine. Spend money to earn money. Spend money to save money. End of discussion.
The unique and limited edition MYR 10.00 that everyone wants so badly.
I hope that my friends, including you will take some time to browse your options and make the right decisions that will lead to success and glory. Good luck. If you're getting your ass out of Penang, be sure to come back and write a poem. Your homecoming might want to be like Si Tenggang's from Form 4 literature. I am not ready for the new life coming. Really not happy with it and not even looking forward to it. Guess this is just part of life that every person in this age has to face. Part of growing up? It's about how a person accept changes in things. Drastic changes.
